(AD+Sep) technology from CNP Water can effectively treating wastewater with high level of fats-oil-grease, or other organic matter such as proteins and starch.
How it works?
(AD+Sep) technology from CNP Water can effectively treating wastewater with high level of fats-oil-grease, or other organic matter such as proteins and starch. The influent COD range is 8 to 80 kgCOD/m3. The AD reactor is a well-mixed bioreactor retaining a high concentration of active anaerobic biomass. The external DAF unit or sludge thickener will separate the FOGs and active biomass from the treated effluent. The skimmed floating sludge from DAF or thickened sludge from the thickener is then mixed with influent wastewater and returned into the AD unit.
What’s the solution?
- Adequate & Reliable Mixing in the AD reactor provide by two external mixing pumps
- High concentration of active biomass to degrade the fat, oil and grease in the raw wastewater
- Bespoke design of the DAF unit with Nikuni DAF Pump for micro-bubble generation
- Bespoke design of sludge thickener with multi-disc screw press
- Biogas co-fire with HFO/natrual gas in industrial boiler to produce steam or hotwater
- Biogas utilization with CHP
What’s the benefit?
- Remove 85 to 98% of influent COD with no need for aeration
- Produce steam/hotwater from biogas, reduce fossil fuel consumption
- Generate only 5% to 10% of the excess sludge compared to conventional aeration process
